Hypnosis is a natural state of physical relaxation and mental focus in which the critical conscious mind is bypassed, so that positive, goal-oriented suggestions can be delivered directly to one’s subconscious. The subconscious mind is the part of your brain that controls 80 percent of how you think, feel, and behave. Once in this state, your subconscious mind is more open to positive, empowering suggestions.

You are in control at all times. In fact, you are probably more in control in hypnosis since you are utilizing a larger portion of your brain. Hypnosis is a do-with and not a do-to process. Hypnotists cannot fix you. However, they can teach you how to use the power of your mind and emotions to your full advantage. You will remember everything that happens and you cannot be made to do things you do not fully consent too, even though movies like to show otherwise.

Yes. The American Medical Association and the American Psychiatric Association have approved hypnosis for smoking cessation, stress reduction, and behavior modification. Hypnosis is taught at Harvard and Stanford medical schools and is used by all branches of the United States Military. The Vatican even gave hypnosis a thumbs-up in the 1950s.

Yes because it’s voluntary. There are three exceptions: 1) Those who don’t want to be hypnotized; 2) Those who cannot concentrate at all, including people with extreme hyperactivity, very low IQ’s, or those under the influence of drugs/alcohol; and 3) Those who refuse to cooperate or follow directions.

No cases exist of a person under hypnosis not returning to a normal state/level of functioning. However, clients have been known to fall asleep or not want to come out of the hypnotic state because it is so relaxing and euphoric!

Self-hypnosis is the ability to get yourself incredibly relaxed and then offer suggestions directly to your own subconscious mind without the help of a hypnotist.

Hypnosis works for as long as you want. We teach you how to use self-hypnosis so that you can continue to get and/or keep results. Like anything else, regular maintenance and practice is necessary, yet the principles taught become like second-nature so the process seems easy and effortless.

No. This myth has no basis in reality. We do believe that having faith will make you more successful as a human being, yet you do not need to have faith for hypnosis to work. In my personal opinion, God gave you an amazing mind and set of emotions. We show you how to use these God-given tools to your advantage.

No. You are awake and fully alert at all times. TV and entertainment shows make it look like clients are sleeping and can be forced to act silly, yet this is just part of the act. Think about it. If the subjects were sleeping, it would be the most boring show ever!

No. You are always awake. At times you may not remember every suggestion because you will feel very relaxed. But all suggestions offered are positive and directed to always be in your best interests.

Usually, no. Some employers, however, now offer FLEX plans to cover weight loss and smoking cessation programs. HSA plans can also be used. We do recommend you check with your provider first.

I’ve been helping people reach their goals for 23 years and I’ve yet to find more effective models than hypnosis and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). Yes, it definitely works!

Absolutely. Nobody will know you are a client unless you tell them, which we hope you do! Once you discover how effective and motivating our programs are, you’ll want to tell your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, employers, employees, doctors, and anyone else who can benefit.

Cost depends on your needs, which are determined by you and your hypnotist. All programs are designed to save you an enormous amount of money and time, especially our weight loss and smoking cessation programs!

Time varies from person to person, which is one of the main reasons why we require you to attend a Free Hypnosis Screening. We are serious about getting you results, which is why we tailor a program to fit your specific needs. In most cases, especially for weight loss, you will need multiple sessions that extend over a period of time.

Some people think hypnosis is a quick fix. Yes, hypnosis works better and faster than most solutions, but it’s not a quick fix. If someone tries to tell you it is, they are trying to sell you something. We are not interested in selling you anything. Our clients willingly join our programs because we get results and we really care about you. We’ve been in business for 17 years. That speaks for itself.

t depends on how well educated your doctor is in integrative medicine. If s/he only believes the myths portrayed on TV, likely no. Yet, most physicians are in favor of hypnosis and will suggest you try it and let them know how it goes. We get doctor referrals all the time from MD’s, dentists, and therapists throughout Central Indiana.

We always use hypnosis in our sessions. Occasionally we will incorporate automated programming because some people need to be alone to fully let go and relax. Yet, this is only for a very brief period of time. You’ll get great feedback about yourself, powerful tools for reaching your goals, and time-tested reinforcement materials to help you succeed!
